Transaction Server System

ProtoLink modified two multithreaded components of an electronic transaction server system. We added diagnostic logging to a dial-up session router which links point-of-sale terminals to an IP-based transaction server. We modified the transaction server to improve scalability and support new transaction types. We also implemented stored procedures in a Microsoft SQL Server database to support the new transaction types. Finally, we improved the thread synchronization logic in both components.
