ProtoLink developed a bi-directional telephone alarm notification system used in oil and gas field applications.  Data is gathered via DDE and monitored.  If an alarm condition exists, the system will traverse a prioritized phone list making calls until the alarm is acknowledged.  Users may also call into the system to determine status at any time.  This system was developed using Visual Basic and Visual Voice.
