Extrusion Coater Recipe Management

ProtoLink developed a machine control interface for an extrusion coating system using Microsoft Visual Basic Professional.  This software allows operators in the semiconductor and flat-panel display industries to construct complicated coating recipes in a graphical, intuitive fashion.  The program interfaces with a Dover motion controller and with Opto22 I/O modules to execute the coating recipes.  Precise control is accomplished by translating the recipes into multiple tasks which run concurrently within the motion controller.
