ProtoLink provided a one-step solution to ease the rigor of monthly cost reporting for a Fortune 500 customer.
ProtoLink developed an application to import Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) cost and labor information from an SAP-generated text file into
Microsoft Office Excel 2003. The application performed automated formula generation for monthly and yearly cost
rollups, and provided data formatting and outlining to increase the readability and ease of navigation within the
Excel worksheets.
The application was written in Microsoft C# .NET 3.5 and made use of Microsoft Office Excel 2003 primary
interop assemblies to control the Excel application.
